About the Job
Canary Closets & Cabinetry, a rapidly growing manufacturer of custom closets, doors, and cabinetry, is seeking a experienced Router Ope4rator and  Shop technicians to join our fast-paced team. We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and self-motivated individual to work wood working production. This is a hands-on role in shop manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shop duties:
  • Operate CNC Router (Single Position).
  • Alternative positions that work with received materials, unloading, and inventory stock.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare hardware for customer orders for accurate and timely shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
  • Operate miscellaneous shop machinery equipment.

Cabinetry & Shop Production:
  • Assist in cutting, edging, and assembling cabinet and closet components.
  • Operate woodworking machinery (training provided).
  • Assemble doors, drawers, and full cabinet units with attention to detail and precision.
  • Perform quality checks on components and finished products.
  • Perform accurate work using measurements and shop tools.
  • Perform general shop maintenance, cleanup, and organization tasks.

Additional Expectations:
  • Take initiative and assist with any shop needs to keep production running at full capacity.
  • Maintain and clean equipment regularly.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate safety equipment (provided).

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in shop or woodworking is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and tolerate dust, noise, and shop conditions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to speak and understand English, and Spanish a plus but not mandatory.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
